At Complex Care Hospital at Tenaya, we pride ourselves on our customer-focused admissions process. Patients can be referred to our facility from a variety of sources, including hospitals, family physicians, specialists, case managers, social workers, home health agencies, nursing homes or personal care homes. The patient or family member can also make a direct request for a consultation to any of our professionals.
The process is easy. Simply ask the physician to write an order to "Complex Care Hospital at Tenaya" for transfer or admission. The individual receiving the order need only call us to arrange for a Clinical Liaison to evaluate you or your loved one.
One of our professionally trained liaisons will evaluate the patient. The hospital’s clinical team will review and respond. We accept Medicare and most private insurance, and will coordinate with your insurance company to ensure a seamless admission process. One of our liaisons will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our program. We encourage you to tour our hospital.
