At LifeCare Hospitals of Dayton, we pride ourselves on our customer-focused admissions team. Patients can be referred to our facility from a variety of sources, including family physicians, specialists, case managers, social workers, home health agencies, nursing homes or personal care homes. The patient or family member can also make a direct request for a consultation to any of our professionals.
The process is easy. Simply ask the physician to write an order to "Consult LifeCare Hospitals of Dayton" for transfer or admission. The individual receiving the order need only call us to arrange for a Clinical Liaison to evaluate you or your loved one. Our carefully trained Liaison will evaluate the patient. If clinically appropriate, it should take no more than 24 hours to have the patient admitted to one of our campuses. We accept Medicare and most private insurance, and will coordinate with your insurance company to ensure a seamless admission process. Our Liaison will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our program, and you are invited to tour our hospital. If we are unable to accept you or your loved one, we will be happy to recommend other options.

In compliance with Ohio State law and in an effort to provide meaningful rate information to our patients, LifeCare Hospitals of Dayton is making available this list of charges for room and board, emergency department, operating room, delivery, physical therapy and other procedures as applicable.
Our charge schedule does not vary by patient but the patient's responsibility may be dependent on health plan benefit coverage. Uninsured or underinsured patients may consult with our intake department to determine whether they qualify for discounts. These prices are correct as of February 2015.
