LifeCare Hospitals of Fort Worth is a 72-bed, specialty acute care hospital which opened in southwest Fort Worth in March of 1999. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and Medicare certified. We have a medical staff of more than 160 physicians who provide 24-hour, in-house coverage on nights, weekends and holidays.

Our hospital features free wireless internet access; two special procedure rooms; a 10-bed fully-licensed intensive care unit; specially outfitted bariatric suites; multi-therapy rehab gym; and in-house laboratory, pharmacy and radiology with onsite CT scanner. Our comprehensive wound care program offers inpatient and outpatient treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Our hospital specializes in the treatment of medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization. We are passionate about giving our patients the best chance at recovery from acute injury or illness by providing early and aggressive intervention in a critical care setting. Our treatment team includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists and therapists across a range of disciplines — physical, speech, occupational, respiratory, recreational and psychological therapy. We believe this interdisciplinary approach helps speed physical, emotional and spiritual recovery. We embrace each of our patients as individuals with a personal history and a unique health situation and we provide the compassion, support, and nurturing necessary to achieve optimal recovery.

LifeCare Hospitals of Ft.Worth has recently earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). This places our facility in an elite set of only 15 percent of hospitals in the United States that have received this award.
