Description:

The Licensed Practical Nurse participates in patient needs, plans, implements, and
evaluates the direct and indirect total nursing care of assigned patients, utilizes the nursing process to facilitate the patient’s progression toward optimal health. He/She provides, directs and guides patient/family teaching and discharge planning to prepare the patient for self, home or further professional care. The LPN assists the Registered Nurse and ensures that Tahoe Pacific Hospital’s philosophy, standards, policies and procedures are met and maintained in a professional manner. He/She supervises and directs CNA’s and Unit Coordinators as needed to provide professional, quality nursing care to all patients. The LPN is active in unit activities, Transdisciplinary Team activities, and Tahoe Pacific Hospital activities to ensure the individualized, patient centered health care for all patient populations admitted to Tahoe Pacific. |
